The 2023 vintage delivers remarkable precision and intensity, opening with flinty minerality, crushed stone, ginger-kissed nectarine and dried flowers. The palate unfolds with citrus, ripe orchard fruit and lemon tart, balanced by vibrant acidity, a satiny texture and a long, saline finish. Powerful yet beautifully focused, it marries the richness of great Chardonnay with the tension and mineral clarity that make Oregon’s Eola-Amity Hills so compelling.

"The 2023 Chardonnay Freya Hermann Cuée is packed with personality and tension. A beguiling bouquet of smoky crushed rocks and cardamom mingles with intense aromas of ginger-tinged nectarine and dusty dried flowers. The 2023 rushes across the palate with poise and prominence, youthfully dense and compact. A stimulating core of acid and minerals complicates an array of flint-infused orchard fruits. Long and structured, the 2023 leaves a saline resonance and a cascade of florals, lingering long with a sensation of liquid stone and minty top notes." Vinous 98

https://www.albatrosswines.com/products/00-wines-freya-hermann-cuvee-chardonnay-eola-amity-hills-usa-2023
