The 2022 is a classic Bordeaux-inspired blend, combining Cabernet Sauvignon’s dark-fruited intensity with the aromatic lift of Cabernet Franc and the structure of Petit Verdot and Merlot. The nose reveals blackberry, boysenberry and dark plum, accented by cocoa, cardamom and delicate floral notes. Rich and expansive on the palate, it delivers layers of red and black fruit, fine yet persistent tannins, and a lingering finish with dusty earth and dried tobacco nuances. Aged for 21 months in 100% new French oak, it balances Napa richness with impressive structure and polish.

"Bergman's 2022 Red Wine is a blend of 67% Cabernet Sauvignon, 14% Cabernet Franc, 12% Petit Verdot and 7% Merlot, matured 20 months in 100% new French oak. Picked at the beginning of the post-Labor Day heat spike, it offers up scents of mixed red and black cherries, plus an intriguing hint of sage. In the mouth, it's full-bodied and generous, adding some caramel and brown sugar notes. Smooth, supple, long and harmonious, with hints of mocha and dark chocolate on the finish, there are enough tannins to think it won't be only an early-drinker." Wine Advocate 96
