Agricola Brandini is a relatively modern, family-run winery in La Morra, one of the most celebrated villages in the Barolo region. The estate focuses on organic viticulture, traditional winemaking, and wines that express the character of their individual vineyards rather than the influence of heavy oak. From the hills around La Morra, the 2023 offers expressive aromas of wild cherry, raspberry, rose petal, and violet, followed by hints of spice and earthy minerality. Bright acidity and silky yet distinctly Nebbiolo tannins give the wine structure and freshness, with a savory finish that invites another sip. Farmed organically and aged for approximately six months in large oak barrels, Filari Corti preserves the grape’s delicate aromatics while adding texture and depth.
