Casanova di Neri’s 2021 Brunello is the estate’s classic White Label bottling and a very strong expression of the excellent 2021 vintage. Made from 100% Sangiovese, it shows bright sour cherry, red berries, violet, bay leaf, sage and juniper, with a juicy, energetic palate, fine tannins and a long, spicy, mineral finish.

The 2021 growing season began relatively gently, followed by a cool spring and then a hot, dry May and June. Ripening proceeded steadily, with harvest beginning in September. Casanova di Neri describes the vintage as particularly successful for tannin maturity and integrated acidity.
