Cédric Bouchard’s Roses de Jeanne “CER – Le Creux d’Enfer” Rosé de Saignée 2021 is an exceptionally rare, single-vineyard Champagne made by macerating Pinot Noir skins and stems briefly to draw out a subtle copper-salmon hue and concentrated flavor, then fermenting and aging with no added dosage. Reflecting the unique limestone-rich terroir of its tiny Creux d’Enfer parcel and Bouchard’s minimalist, terroir-first approach, it typically shows crystalline red fruit, savory spice, rose petal and herbal nuances framed by vibrant acidity and chalky minerality, with a vinous depth and long finish that make it one of the most distinctive rosés in the Roses de Jeanne range.
