Aloxe-Corton Premier Cru “Les Valozières” 2023 is a poised and transparent expression of Pinot Noir from an east-facing Premier Cru site beneath the Corton hill. Made with Lachaux’s hallmark whole-cluster fermentation and gentle, low-intervention élevage, the wine emphasizes freshness and precision over power. Aromas of red cherry, wild raspberry, rose petal, and subtle earth lead into a finely textured palate with silky tannins, bright acidity, and a long, mineral-driven finish. Elegant yet quietly structured, it captures Aloxe-Corton through a lens of finesse and energy, with clear potential to evolve beautifully over time.

The label was designed by Charles’ wife Louise, who is a graphic designer. The rose is for the couple’s eldest daughter, Rose.
