Chartreuse Jaune (Yellow Chartreuse) is a legendary French herbal liqueur produced by the Carthusian monks in the Isère region, near the Grande Chartreuse monastery. First developed in the 19th century, it is made from a secret recipe of around 130 plants, herbs, and spices, giving it remarkable depth and complexity.
