Château Montrose 2019 is an exceptional vintage of this historic Second Growth and one of the standout wines of the Left Bank. The blend is 64% Cabernet Sauvignon, 30% Merlot, 5% Cabernet Franc and 1% Petit Verdot, with 60% new French oak.

The wine is deep, powerful and intensely concentrated, but the hallmark of the 2019 is its balance. Expect blackcurrant, black cherry, plum, graphite, crushed stone, tobacco, licorice, cedar and smoke, with beautifully ripe, grainy tannins and tremendous freshness.
