Le Lucciole comes from a tiny, organically farmed 0.8-hectare vineyard in Predappio, where distinctive marine-derived soils and a cool, sheltered site produce Sangiovese of remarkable depth and finesse. The 2022 reveals layers of wild cherry, cranberry and dark berries, lifted by rose petal, violet, wild herbs and subtle earthy spice. Extended maceration and aging in large Slavonian oak casks build complexity and structure while preserving the purity of the fruit. Elegant yet serious, the palate combines vibrant acidity, finely grained tannins and a long, savory, mineral-driven finish.
