Sourced from high-altitude, limestone-rich parcels on the Ladoix side, it opens with layered aromas of yellow plum, citrus oil, and white flowers, underscored by wet stone and subtle spice. On the palate, it is both broad and precise delivering impressive concentration and texture balanced by bright, driving acidity and a pronounced saline core. There’s a seamless interplay between ripe orchard fruit and firm minerality, building toward a long, structured finish with hints of almond and chalk. This is a serious, age-worthy Corton-Charlemagne that leans more toward power and structure than opulence, with the depth to evolve beautifully over the next 10–20+ years.
