Anne Gros owns just 0.60 hectares in “Les Verroilles,”a historic parcel acquired by Louis Gustave Gros in 1882. Expect dark cherry, red currant, raspberry, violet and rose, layered with licorice, spice, tea, menthol and subtle earthy notes. The palate is broad and concentrated, but the tannins are remarkably silky and velvety, with a strong mineral backbone that keeps the wine lifted and gives it tremendous length.
