Bonnes-Mares Grand Cru 2023 is a deeply expressive and powerful Pinot Noir from one of Burgundy’s most historic Grand Cru vineyards that straddles Chambolle-Musigny and Morey-Saint-Denis, made by one of the Côte de Nuits’ most revered domaines. The wine shows an intricate bouquet of black and red berry fruit with floral notes like violet and iris, underpinned by spice, smoke and subtle earthiness, reflecting the iron-rich “terres rouges” soils of the vineyard. On the palate it is medium-to-full-bodied with concentrated, layered fruit framed by fine, harmonious tannins, vibrant acidity and a saline, mineral finish that gives both power and elegance. This 2023 vintage showcases the depth and finesse of Bonnes‑Mares and is built for long-term aging, rewarding patience with evolving complexity over the coming decades.
