"The 2020 Volnay Les Champans ler Cru is a little richer and more opulent than the Clos des Chênes, ravishing dark black cherries, cassis and light violet scents burst from the glass. The palate is medium-bodied with fine tannins, the oak a little more pronounced at the moment, therefore I would afford this bold Volnay 4-6 years in bottle if you can wait. Vinous 92-94
