The Dugat family have been winegrowers in the Gevrey-Chambertin appellation since the beginning of the 17th century. Bernard Dugat and his son, Loîc are the 12th and 13th generation to exploit the unique knowledge of wine-making and working in the vines, which has been acquired over four centuries.

Sourced from the 'La Levrière' lieu-dit in Pommard, a 0.78-hectare Lieu-Dit parcel planted in 1946. The vineyard is situated adjacent to the château, featuring clay-limestone soils that contribute to the wine's structure and complexity. The name 'Levrière' refers to the stones historically transported to forge the Roman road from Chalon-sur-Saône to the Arrière-Côte.

While specific tasting notes for the 2022 vintage are not yet available, previous vintages have exhibited aromas of blackberries, wild plums, orange rind, exotic spices, and peonies. The palate typically presents a balance of concentrated fruit, firm tannins, and a lingering finish.
