Domaine Dujac Aux Malconsorts Premier Cru 2023 is a powerful yet refined Pinot Noir, showcasing the depth and elegance of this exceptional Vosne‑Romanée vineyard. The nose reveals black cherry, cassis, subtle spice, and a hint of smoky warmth. On the palate, it is medium- to full-bodied, with layered texture, supple but firm tannins, and a mineral-tinged core of fruit, finishing with depth and clarity. While approachable with careful aeration, it is built for long-term aging, promising remarkable complexity over the next 10–20 years.
"The 2023 Vosne-Romanée Aux Malconsorts ler Cru is another cuvée that suffered some reduction during its élevage. Despite that, the nose still has a little more density and fruit concentration, with a hint of Japanese nori in the background. The palate is medium-bodied with a sweeter entry than the Beaux Monts. Candied orange peel notes commingle with touches of red cherry and strawberry fruit. It's a little spicy and strict on the finish. Excellent." Vinous 94-96
