A superb village-level Burgundy from Jean-Marie Fourrier, one of Gevrey-Chambertin’s most sought-after producers. Sourced from old vines averaging around 60 years, this cuvée showcases Fourrier’s signature style: pure fruit, aromatic finesse and beautifully restrained winemaking. The challenging 2024 vintage produced exceptionally low yields, but the wine offers lovely depth and energy. The nose reveals wild strawberry, red cherry and raspberry, with hints of dark berries, graphite and delicate earthy spice. On the palate, vibrant red fruit meets fine-grained tannins and lively acidity, supported by filigreed minerality and a long, balanced finish. Fresh, transparent and elegant, it captures the character of Gevrey-Chambertin without unnecessary weight.
