For nearly a century, generations take turn to defend and highlight the wines of Nuits Saint Georges. They were once named Henri Gouges, then Michel and Marcel; who were then replaced by Pierre and Christian, and now Grégory and Antoine. Experts of the Pinot Noir, our estate exploits 14 hectares of vines, exclusively in Nuits St Georges. The fair, straight, intense, steady, and vertical wines that we provide are what made the reputation of our estate. Our production volume is related to the climatic conditions, and our growing method focuses on quality and respect of the terroirs at the expense of the quantity.

Located at the southern end of the appellation, between Premeaux and Nuits-Saint-Georges, the “Les Saint-Georges” climat is widely regarded as the most emblematic of the commune.

Mentioned as early as the Middle Ages, this site has long been praised for the outstanding quality of its wines—so much so that in 1892, it lent its name to the town itself. Classified as a Premier Cru, the climat spans approximately 7 hectares, at an altitude of 245 to 260 meters. It lies on a moderately sloping hillside (7 to 8%) with deep clay-rich soils interspersed with limestone scree, resting on a Jurassic subsoil. Its full eastern exposure allows for consistent and complete ripening of Pinot Noir.

Wines from this terroir are known for their complexity, depth, and impressive aging potential. A request for Grand Cru classification is currently under review by the INAO. The Domaine cultivates a one-hectare plot here, planted with vines averaging 60 years old, largely from massal selection. Each vine is tended with utmost care to express the full singularity of this historic site.
