Nuits-Saint-Georges “Les Charmois” is a beautifully expressive village-level Burgundy that captures the charm and approachability of the vintage while retaining the precision and structure that define the Grivot style. Sourced from this prized lieu-dit in the northern sector of Nuits-Saint-Georges, the wine opens with lifted aromas of ripe raspberry, red cherry, violet, and subtle spice, accented by hints of blood orange and earth. The palate is supple and polished, with vibrant red fruit, silky tannins, and bright acidity bringing freshness and energy through the long, mineral-laced finish. More immediately seductive than many Nuits-Saint-Georges bottlings, yet built with the balance to age gracefully, this is an elegant and highly drinkable expression from one of Burgundy’s benchmark domaines.

"The 2023 Nuits Saint-Georges Les Charmois has a charming bouquet with a little more sensuality than the preceding Aux Lavières. Incense and iris flower tincture the red fruit that gains in intensity with aeration. The palate is medium-bodied, smooth and precise, with very supple tannins.
