Vincent Paris is known for crafting wines that emphasize clarity, freshness, and lift, and “Les Côtes” is a perfect example of that philosophy. Aromas of crushed blackberry, black cherry, violet, white pepper, and smoked herbs leap from the glass, framed by a subtle stony, granite-driven minerality. The palate is medium-bodied and beautifully focused, with fine tannins, bright acidity, and a juicy core of dark fruit that keeps the wine both serious and highly drinkable. Compared to more powerful Saint-Joseph bottlings, this is all about finesse, tension, and immediacy, an incredibly versatile Syrah that shines both on release and over the near term.
