Named in honor of General Charles de Gaulle, a devoted Drappier customer, this expressive cuvée blends 80% Pinot Noir with 20% Chardonnay from the limestone-rich vineyards of the Côte des Bar. Ripe apple, white peach and bright citrus lead into layers of toasted almond, warm biscuit and delicate spice. A portion of the wine is aged in oak, adding a generous, rounded texture that is beautifully balanced by freshness and an elegant, persistent mousse.
