Domaine Guillemard-Clerc – exemplifies precise, classic Puligny-Montrachet, displaying a beautiful balance of fruit, minerality, and racy acidity. Domaine Guillemard-Clerc is owned by Corinne Guillemard-Clerc. She is the 3rd generation of grape growers on the Guillemard side. Corinne created her Domaine in 2003 and is the first to make the vinification and bottle under the family name. Finding any volume is difficult here as the Domaine only owns 10 hectares divided between 15 appellations & 17 parcels; the majority is in Puligny and Beaune. The fruit is hand harvested, sorted and pressed directly to barrel for fermentation. Oak is used sparingly and rarely exceeds 20% new barrels.

A joyful wine, lush complex, ripe nose of lemon juice, lychee and preserved peaches, calcarious soil, smoke and toasty oak. Easy going and forward in the mouth with a perfect balance of mineral tension, ripe fruits, spice and oak.
