Hugel & Fils Gentil, Alsace, France 2024

Gentil 2024 is a classic Alsace white blend and a great introduction to the Hugel style. The 2024 is a six-grape blend of 30% Riesling, 20% Gewürztraminer, 15% Pinot Gris, 15% Sylvaner, 15% Pinot Blanc, and 5% Muscat, sourced from hand-harvested clay-and-limestone vineyards around Riquewihr.

It is dry, aromatic, and exceptionally versatile, showing yellow plum, rose, quince, citrus zest, and gentle spice, with a soft, generous palate balanced by a fresh finish. Despite its approachable style, it has enough acidity and structure to work beautifully with food.
