Hundred Acre 'Morgan's Way' Cabernet Sauvignon, Napa Valley, USA 2022
"Morgan's Way" Cabernet Sauvignon 2022 is an ultra-luxurious, small-production Napa Valley Cabernet from one of California's most cult producers. Named in honor of founder Jayson Woodbridge's daughter, Morgan's Way showcases the estate's signature combination of power, richness, and extraordinary purity. The wine is deeply aromatic, with layers of blackberry, cassis, black cherry, blueberry, dark chocolate, violet, and exotic spice, followed by a lavish, full-bodied palate with velvety tannins and remarkable depth. The 2022 vintage offers impressive concentration and a long, seamless finish, making this a spectacular collector's bottle with the structure to evolve beautifully in the cellar.
"Based on 100% Cabernet Sauvignon from the original Hundred Acre vineyard, the 2022 Cabernet Sauvignon Morgans Way comes from clay soils at the base of Howell Mountain and was aged 32 months in 100% new French oak. Ripe currants, spicy cassis, classy oak, sweet tobacco, and hints of chocolate all shine in the aromatics. It's medium to full-bodied and has a deep, concentrated mouthfeel, ripe tannins, and a gorgeous finish. This ripe, sexy, seductive, opulent effort will evolve for two decades or more if well stored."
