The 2018 is remarkably dense yet weightless, showing ripe stone fruit, quince, honeyed fig, citrus, floral notes, tea, spice, and slate, with tremendous acidity carrying the sweetness through an exceptionally long, saline finish. It received 99 points from James Suckling, 97 from Wine Advocate, and 96 from Vinous. For a collector, this is a serious long-term cellar wine.
