Jubilation by Colgin Cellars, Napa Valley, USA 2023

Jubilation 2023 is the more approachable, earlier-drinking Cabernet-based red in the Colgin lineup. It’s selected from barrels from Colgin’s hillside vineyards after the single-vineyard wines are blended, giving it the estate’s signature perfume, freshness, minerality, and polish in a more supple style.

"Similar to the 2021, yet with a touch more freshness and elegance, the 2023 Jubilation By Colgin is based on 75% Cabernet Sauvignon, 13% Merlot, 10% Cabernet Franc, and 2% Petit Verdot from IX Estate, Tychson Hill, and Vine Hill Ranch aged 20 months in French oak. It has classic cassis and darker berry fruits, some chalky minerality, violets, and classy oak. Medium to full-bodied, beautifully pure, fresh and focused, with ripe, polished tannins, integrated acidity, and just beautiful overall balance, it's already hard to resist, yet has the class to evolve gracefully for two decades."
