Latitude is crafted from 100% Chardonnay grown in the south of Vertus, where richer soils produce a rounder, more generous expression of the grape. Expect vibrant citrus, ripe pear and orchard fruit layered with white flowers, toasted almond and delicate pastry notes, all balanced by fresh acidity and a subtle chalky, saline finish. Fermented with indigenous yeasts in wood and aged on its lees, this Champagne combines texture and richness with the precision that defines the domaine. With 40% perpetual reserve wines and just 2 g/L dosage in the current release, Latitude is effortlessly elegant, wonderfully versatile and an outstanding introduction to the Larmandier-Bernier style.
