Terre de Vertus is a single-vineyard Champagne from the Les Barillers lieu-dit in Vertus, crafted from 100% Chardonnay and bottled without dosage to preserve the vineyard’s natural character. The 2016 vintage is beautifully layered, offering lemon zest, crisp apple and ripe citrus alongside white flowers, brioche and a distinctive chalky, saline minerality. Fermented with indigenous yeasts in barrels and Stockinger casks, then aged on its lees and matured for years in the cellar, it combines impressive depth and texture with vibrant acidity and a long, crystalline finish. Precise, complex and uncompromisingly dry, this is a serious Champagne for collectors who appreciate purity, age-worthy structure and the unmistakable expression of great Chardonnay terroir.

"The 2016 Brut Nature Blanc de Blancs Terre de Vertus ler Cru is fabulous. Comprised of 100% Chardonnay from two mid-slope parcels in Vertus, it is perfumed and exotic, with striking aromatics. This cuvée straddles the line between still and sparkling wine. Lime, mint, white pepper and chalk lend tons of high-toned character. The 2016 is really quite compelling. Bottled with no dosage.
