Barbaresco DOCG 2018 is a classic expression of 100% Nebbiolo from Piedmont's celebrated Barbaresco appellation. The 2018 vintage offers an elegant balance of red cherry, raspberry, rose petal, violet, dried herbs, and subtle spice, with Nebbiolo's signature fine-grained tannins and vibrant acidity. Compared with Barolo, Barbaresco often shows a slightly more perfumed, approachable, and silky character, and the 2018 is already beginning to enter a beautiful drinking window while retaining plenty of structure for further development. A refined, food-friendly Piedmontese red that pairs wonderfully with truffle dishes, mushroom risotto, braised meats, and aged cheeses.
