Meo-Camuzet Fixin, Cote de Nuits, France 2024
Méo-Camuzet Fixin 2024
A beautifully understated Côte de Nuits Burgundy from Méo-Camuzet’s négociant range, the Fixin comes from vineyards at the northern end of the Côte de Nuits, just south of Dijon. The 2024 is 100% Pinot Noir, sourced from parcels including Le Clos and Les Herbues, immediately below the hillside—sites the domaine considers particularly well situated.
The style is classic Méo-Camuzet: silky, elegant and very approachable, with bright red berries, cherry, subtle earth and spice. The palate has good mid-palate weight and freshness, with fine tannins and a surprisingly persistent finish. The domaine specifically describes the Fixin as seductive in its youth, with a silky texture and more length than its appellation might suggest.
