RAEN Winery is a small, family-run estate founded by Carlo and Dante Mondavi on the far Sonoma Coast, focused on producing cool-climate Pinot Noir and Chardonnay with a strong sense of place. Farming is organic and regenerative, with vineyards located just miles from the Pacific, where fog, wind, and poor soils naturally drive freshness and minerality. In the cellar, the wines are made with native fermentations, whole-cluster use, and aging in neutral French oak, resulting in a style that is lifted, aromatic, and precise. The wines are often described as “Burgundian” in feel emphasizing finesse, energy, and transparency over ripeness or weight.

"The 2024 Chardonnay Charles Ranch is a wine of exceptional finesse, with silky contours and caressing layers of tangerine peel and passion fruit. All of the pedigree of this great site comes through loud and clear in this stunning Chardonnay. The fruit was sourced entirely from the old-vine sections, planted in 1981." Vinous 97
