Tenuta Buon Tempo Rosso di Montalcino, Tuscany, Italy 2024
Rosso di Montalcino 2024 is a beautifully crafted, more approachable counterpart to the estate’s Brunello, coming from the far southern reaches of Montalcino around Castelnuovo dell’Abate. The estate farms its vineyards organically, with the property’s galestro and sandstone soils contributing freshness and structure.
Made from 100% Sangiovese Grosso, the 2024 is fermented in stainless steel and given an extended élevage: 12 months in second-use 500L French oak tonneaux, followed by 6 months in steel/large Slavonian oak and 6 months in bottle. The result is vibrant and polished, with red and dark berries, spice, silky tannins, fresh acidity, and a long, savory finish.
