Thierry Allemand Cornas “C – Chaillots” 2022 is a vibrant, finely structured Syrah from younger-vine parcels in Cornas, made in Allemand’s unmistakably pure, whole-cluster style. Fermented with native yeasts and aged in neutral oak, it shows lifted aromatics of violet, black raspberry, and blackberry, layered with cracked pepper, olive, and iron-tinged minerality. The palate is energetic and precise, with firm but polished tannins, fresh acidity, and a long, savory finish. A Cornas of clarity and finesse that already drinks beautifully yet has the structure to age gracefully.

" The 2022 Cornas Les Chaillots from Thierry Allemand was crafted by his son Théo using the same method as his father: 100% whole bunches, two to three days of carbon maceration and punching down instead of pumping over. Evoking a pure, delicate and gourmand bouquet of violet, mulberries and dark berries, it's medium to full-bodied, dense and firm with a crystalline, pure texture and an energetic, tense mid-palate framed by somewhat stringy tannins, typical of whole bunches.
