“Les Vignes de Chavignol” Sancerre Rouge 2022 is his top red cuvée, made from 100% Pinot Noir from old vines in Chavignol on Kimmeridgian clay-limestone soils. Whole-bunch fermentation and 12 months in barrel give it beautiful perfume and texture, with black cherry, raspberry, spice and subtle savory notes, framed by fine tannins and vibrant mineral freshness. A serious, Burgundy-like Sancerre red with excellent aging potential.
