Vincent Willamette Valley Pinot Noir, Oregon, USA 2023
Owner/winemaker Vincent Fritzsche launched Vincent Wine Company in 2009 after years of apprenticeship at wineries in Oregon and California. Located right in the heart of the Willamette Valley, we practice low-input winemaking using grapes from sustainably-farmed vineyards to produce small amounts of handmade wine without a lot of fuss.
Most of the wines produced by Vincent Wine Company are sold under our Vincent label, which is named both for our winemaker Vincent Fritzche, and for St. Vincent of Saragossa, the patron saint of vintners. Vincent wines are primarily single varietal wines made from Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, Pinot Blanc, and Gamay sourced from some of the finest sustainably farmed vineyards in Willamette Valley.
A beautiful and classic composite of an excellent year: balancing marine-sediment soils in Ribbon Ridge–where Vincent prefers to use some stems–alongside mostly de-stemmed fruit from the Eola-Amity, including Zenith vineyard and young vines from the famed Temperance Hill. Aging in neutral barrique.
