The remote, cool-climate vineyard produces a wine of remarkable perfume, energy, and depth, with cherry, raspberry, blood orange, rose petal, cedar, spice, forest floor, and subtle savory notes. Fine-grained tannins and bright acidity give it both elegance and structure, while 15 months in French oak—43% new—adds polish without overwhelming the fruit.
